Need more spells per round!

I'm currently running a 13th lvl sorceror with the Metamagic specialist variant from the PHB2. She can already cast some spells up to 6th level quickened with a "metamagic rod:quicken spell".

The Belt of Battle from the magic item compendium gives her the ability to take an extra full round a day, so in one round she would be able to cast three spells in a round (activating it is a swift action).

The boots of temporal activation (magic item comp. p 79) let her enter another time frame for two rounds once a day. So that would be two more spells for this round plus two quickened spells in these rounds (although these can't harm anyone).



I'f im not mistaken, she could do something like this:

-cast 1 normal spell
-activate belt with swift action, gain a full round action
-cast 1 normal spell
-activate boots with swift action, gain 2 more rounds
-cast 4 more spells (2 normal ones, 2 quickened, but none that can harm others)
= 6 spells in this round.

Notice any mistakes? :uhoh:

If you could point me in the right direction for enhancing the number of spells she can cast in one round I'd be very thankful. (any Prestige Classes ot other magic items around???)

If the DM allows Belt of Battle unmodified, he might allow abuse of White Raven Tactics (from Tome of Battle: Book of Nine Swords).

Then, your extra actions in one round are limited to how many allies you have who know White Raven Tactics. :uhoh:

Aren't swift actions normally limited to once/round?

Otherwise, the Action Surge feat from the Eberron Campaign Setting, if you happen to use action points. Spend two to get another standard action in a round.

They are but I thought since the boots give you another full round action you should be able to use a second swift action during it.

Well, at higher level you can shapechange into a choker, they get an extra standard action per round. Then there's also time stop.

Nope. One full round action =\= one standard and one swift.

I would rule the same as Hella_Tellah. Technically, the amount of time that passes during all of your actions is still only six seconds (one round) and hence you may only use one Swift action in the interval.

The Action Surge feat would let you take another Move action or another Standard action, but not another Swift action.
