NG vs. N: Neutral Good Victorious!

For game purposes, we'll assume that the crossbow was loaded when the aasimar entered the arena (it is probably too dangerous IRL). The aasimar will take a move action to sheathe her sword and a move action to ready the crossbow.

Round 10:

The pony charges to 60N20E and misses with its kick! (Rolled 4+2 for charge = 6)

No Trouble at All
The aasimar's back is almost to the entryway and that injures her pride more than anything else. She takes a five foot step to 60N5E, as a free action drops the crossbow, as her standard action draws her sword from its sheath (using std as a move action), then as her move action readies her heavy shield. Thus braced for the onslaught of the pony, she awaits its next move.

ooc: I'm assuming she had to loose the shield to fire the crossbow, unless she was firing it one-handed (at -2 to hit).

That's right, we forgot about the shield, so let's say she was firing one-handed. (She missed anyway.) That gives you a standard action left over, right?

Round 12:

The pony 5 foot steps to 60N10E. The aasimar swings her sword.

Not even close! (Rolled 4)

The aasimar blocks the pony's kicks with her shield. (Rolled 15 & 8)

The aasimar goes first in Round 13. If no damage is done, it will be a draw!

No Trouble at All
The Aasimar grits her teeth and swings with all of her might at the pony, but somewhere in the back of her mind she won't mind if she isn't forced to kill this simple creature.

Round 13

Another wild swing! (Rolled 5)

The pony's kicks miss! (Rolled 9 & 14)

The result is a draw!

Next up for NG: an anuchu (Creature Catalog)

The anuchu goes first in Round 14.

Greybar

No Trouble at All
The aasimar sighs as she disappears in a flash of teleporting light.

The anchu prowls in using a move action to get from 60N0E to 60N20E, then readies an attack action to loose an arrow from the longbow as soon as the opponent appears.

(not that it's likely to be an issue, but have you decided to ignore the possibility of running out of ammo?)
