NG vs. NE: Neutral Evil is Victorious!

Danuba breathes lightning all over herself and the scorpions can't dodge (25 Ref save). They take 97+48 and are dispersed and destroyed.

Danuba:[sblock]You can breathe again in round 342.[/sblock]

Next for NE in round 340: a nightwalker. (MM)

Nightwalkers are always Chaotic Evil. What really comes in is a death giant.

A huge, gaunt, heavily armored giant wielding a greataxe appears at 85N100E. Thanatos has pointed ears, dark gray skin, and pointed fangs. He is surrounded by a thin mist of swirling vapor, which intermittently forms into screaming, tormented faces. The faces start wailing in horrible anguish. Danuba is shaken to her very core, and maybe even worse.

[sblock]In case Danuba sticks around, Thanatos would like to know what he knows about her.[/sblock]

Danuba flies to the west wall and taps out (27 Will save).

Next for NG in round 341 is an ancient battle dragon. (Draconomicon)

Dragon stats:[sblock]35 ranks in Diplomacy, Knowledge (arcana, geography, nature, nobility & planes), Listen, Search, Spot & Use Magic Device. Feats are Alertness, Blind-Fight, Improved Initiative, Improved Sunder, Power Attack, Weapon Focus (claw & bite), Great Fortitude, Iron Will, Quicken Spell-like Abilitiy (Prot/Evil) & Recover Breath! You know that the death giant's wailing that scared Danuba will not affect you because it is a sonic ability. You also know that the way to stop the wailing is for a cleric to turn the faces surrounding the giant. The giant is immune to energy drain and has a nice juicy weapon that you can sunder. :) [/sblock]

PJSlavner:[sblock]Battle dragons have dragon traits, a sonic breath weapon, DR/magic, and can cast protection from evil as a spell-like ability.[/sblock]

Aegorus appears at 85n65e speaks a few words in draconic before blasting Thantos with a sonic blast of energy.

Quicked Prot From Evil prior to breath weapon.

The huge dragon breathes and Thanatos does not dodge (26 Ref save). He takes 57 sonic damage, but is not afraid. Aegorus is not afraid of Thanatos either.

Aegorus:[sblock]You can breathe again next round.[/sblock]

Thanatos has 151 hp when he takes his turn in round 341.

When you say Aegorus is not afraid of Thanatos, does that mean Thanatos's wailing from before had a chance to affect Aegorus?

If yes, Aegorus must be immune to fear because otherwise he would be shaken. In that case, Thanatos will try to hack four times with his greataxe, then back up to 80N90E.

If no, Thanatos will try wailing.

The wailing appears to be continuous. Turning it on and off is a standard action for each step. Aegorus does not necessarily have to be immune to fear, but he has to be immune to some characteristic of the ability (either sonic, mind-affecting, or fear).

I have Thanatos 20 feet away from Aegorus at the moment. 85N100E vs. 85N65E = 20 feet, right? (Both combatants are huge). So Thanatos would need a 25 foot reach.
