Round 441: Ulmo takes 2 cold damage. Hades dodges his breath (35 Ref save).

Hades still takes 43 damage and is defeated!

The water lowers several inches.

Ulmo has 67 hp left and is somewhere underneath the water at 100N90E.

Next for NE in round 441: a blackstone gigant. (FF)

Gansk, three things:

Since I didn't actually confirm my final location, it should be at about 100n90e-60z, right?
It should take about a third of the flight distance to hit the water, then two-thirds of swim speed would be 60.

Oh, and how long until breath weapon recharge?

And, while Ulmo's SLAs are said to work underwater, would acid fog really make sense? I mean, maybe it could permeate the water and make it thicker - this is magic after all, but I thought I'd check.

Greybar:[sblock]Actually there are webs at 100N90E, so let's put Ulmo at 100N100E-50Z.
Ulmo can breathe again in round 445.
All spells are effective underwater except fire spells. Even those are effective if you succeed on a spellcraft check.[/sblock]

Ulmo moves around down there:

Since it sounds like his opponent can't get him, Ulmo will move to 100n50e-120z. He'll wait with a readied acid fog to fire off at the first opponent to breach the water on the way down. Which means I probably mean I'll need a visibility in water check (I see the d20 rules are a random distance) - presumably the keen sight works on that too, so I should have an advantage. The acid fog will be targeted for 10 feet below the targets position, just to make them work a little farther to get down there.

And with that I think Ulmo is set until the next combatant comes in, if the current one can't follow him...

I think that Ulmo forgets that even though he wins on draws, the VZ rules are still in effect.

He will still lose if he does not enter the VZ in four rounds.

The draw does not occur until five rounds have passed. Even then, a creature camping in the VZ for three straight rounds has to agree to the draw.

OOC: Note to self - if you make a post about how you're bailing and will post later, you shouldn't look at your subscriptions, see that you were the last one to post, and assuming that the game isn't holding on you!

Ulmo surfaces at 100n100e, and takes a good look at the statue. Unless he has reason to believe the thing has acid immunity or freedom of movement effect then Ulmo will place acid fog centered at 95n70e.
