Search is kinda funky right now until they reindex the boards. However, if you set the visible at the bottom of the page to everything from the last year (some Gencon threads start in January when folks book hotels and discuss what DMing they might do) and click on the "thread" header to put them in alphabetical order, the "Gs" pages glean a nice assortment of threads.

You could also set things for the last six months and then sort by last post. From there, go back and check out threads from early September when a lot of Gencon threads would be losing momentum or dying. That should get you all the rest. Just go from page to page using your browser search "Find (on this page)" for "Gencon" and clickety-click away.
