D&D 5E [OOC] Escape from Castle Illvithar

Well, I think the setup was sort of described as a death trap dungeon and the trapped chest was well out of our level, both in picking difficulty and the trap placed on it. I think I will forever cherish the fact that my first level halfling rogue actually survived a prismatic spray trap.

But yeah, the halfling is down with going through the teleportation circle, assuming it works.
 


Just a random thought about opening doors after the usual trap check, keyhole spy and glass to the ear we could go in swat stlye have Kroger open the door and Dodge while Naeris and Whisper ready attack actions with bows to nuke what ever is on the other side. Thoughts?
 

It's not so much not having a light. I have torches and mushrooms that glow. It's trying to do stealth without illuminating one's self. Depending on how far the light goes, we probably should just use the light to sweep the hallways. We'd still be in darkvision and, as long as we were outside the range of their darkvision, may be able to see potential enemies. Granted, they'd be alerted to our presence, but may not be able to see us to do anything about it. Then again, they could probably hear the dwarf.
 

More than likely I can't think of many things 120ft darkvision.. well that we could out run anyway. Maybe I would be best of serving as scout and alerting you if I find a trap, then dwarf can follow after its clean?
