(OOC) The Dog Days of Doom

Someone mentioned drawing the attention of zombies to a different location. I have to think about how that would work... it would definitely cause zombies to become more alert but their focus on the noisy team and give advantages for the stealthy team and noisy team would have encounters focus on them. I just have to work out the details. But as was mentioned, things could spiral.

And before it gets lost, here's my original morning post

That will probably happen naturally, if we simply split into two groups. We don't need to do it on purpose.

Edit: Just ignore all this. I Deleted a bunch of trash rules...I'm over-complicating things.

@Steve Gorak I'm tracking your Detect magic but, remember, it doesn't go through walls or objects because it's line of sight. Anson has a magical necklace(abjuration) and the obsidian stones you got from the priest of WeeJas also glow abjuration.

Edit: Holy Water Detects as "good" (celestial) but not of magic. Unholy water detects as "Evil" or Undead/demonic (depending on the entity/priest that made the Unholy water)

Hey guys,

I say we don't split the party. Splitting the party in pbp becomes messy. We can hit targets one by one imho. I prefer the emporium, but am of with the armory so we don't split up. Also, recall that Benny can cast illusions, so good to create distractions. Silent image 60 ft range, 15ft cube., minor illusion for sound: 30ft range. Hoping that it could move the needle in a pinch.

Haw, I just suggested in the IC that we DO split up. I think we should, but only very briefly. There's no guarantee that we will make it back to the Emporium. We have to head for the beacon after, and the Emporium will be backtracking. Two stealthy slip-in-slip-out catch up to the others. I think we can do it.

Yeah, that's my thought as well. See my IC post - made the same time you posted.

Okay, I’m making the decision to split the party since it’s 5:1

Anson and Benny & Deidre to the Emporium and everyone else to the Holy Hammer.

I just realized that there are 6 of you. Not sure how I forgot that. Anyways, 4 of you made your sneak so you are good to go.

I have a band practice now so will post again this evening.

Love what you did IC. Not splitting the party is more of a philosophical stance, and it tends to make the DM's life easier, but it's in the party's advantage to do it, so I'll go along with the group.

BTW, team armory, Benny would look dang good with a halfling-sized studded leather. I'll take the +1 to AC if I can ;-)
