And Armory Team, Deirdre could use more holy water. ;)
Ditto for Benny, multiple flasks of 25 gp please to cast protection against evil. I though this would be in the Emporium, but if it’s in the Armory, grab barrels please! :)

@TaranTheWanderer, funny thing: they changed the spell components on protection from evil from 2014 to 2024. used to be powdered silver and iron now it’s a 25gp+ flask of holy water, and it is consumed!
Cheers,

Sg

That's a good catch. Guess I should review my spell component requirements too....

Yeah, it’s a tough catch; 25 go per casting is super steep!

Yeah, that's pretty tough for a L1 spell. You're not likely to have that kind of cash to just burn away until at least Level 5. And the spell is good, but it ain't THAT good. Maybe if it weren't Concentration. It has a weird duration, too. 10 minutes. Just long enough to definitely last a whole fight, but probably too short to last two (assuming Concentrations are made) except in the most dire aggro-dungeon.

@FitzTheRuke @Snarf Zagyg @Neurotic

There's two doors to this building. Exterior stairs that goes to an upstairs apartment (currently closed and possibly locked) and the main shop door. Currently open with bodies all over. I'll put more detail in the IC but I want to post a map and it might be easier if I know which way you want to go.

PS: Caer has the key to this building.

I'll probably allow multiple castings with a single vial.

I used to go to Catholic church. They sprinkle water on people, they don't pour whole cups of it over people's heads. It's prayer of protection, not a baptism!

It's not nearly as good as it used to be.(I'm talking 3e) It used to make you immune to all charm and domination but now it's only useful against outsiders. If you cast it on someone who was charmed or dominated, they'd be immune to the spell while it was active, now it only gives advantage to a saving throw and, casting it, doesn't trigger a new save. It also used to prevent summoned creatures from attacking you.

That said, it's super useful in this setting...but, yeah, concentration.

So cool! Thank you!!!
And yeah, had I known what our characters were heading into, it would have been my #1 pick at character creation!
BTW, I am loving this game!!!
Cheers,!
