A bit late to the discussion, but in living world 4e, it was not unusual for DM to post every defence, AC and monster basic attack so that players could narrate if they hit or miss, roll OA for monsters (with easy retcon from DM if the monster wouldn't take it due some punishment mechanics) and some even went so far to add bloodied or death effects and HP.

It enabled a bit of meta - when you saw the monster had high reflex, low will, you could target that defense - but in general, it sped up play. I've also seen google sheets used as maps - not because they were detailed, but because it was easy for players to log in, move their characters (letters on a grid) and/or mark area effects in various colors. Everyone could then see current situation - in 4e there was a lot of forced movement.

So, I agree with the proposal to just post monster CON save. It will let us all know if we have advantage after topple and not have to wait on you.

Yeah, let’s try just having snarf roll the save for now.

As far as the map goes, it’s on roll20 and people are welcome to move their characters. Not sure if google sheets is any easier

One thought I had re; chickens was that they could be shot at a distance (porduce flame), which would possibly make noise (and make dinner!) but the noise would be there. I also suspect that we might be able to give ourselves some elevation, on a roof of a tent or whatever.

If Anson felt he was bringing supplies for the group at the inn, he'd be down for that. It's a fun and funny obstacle, but I'm not sure Anson would choose to engage.

IDK if you'd want to eat them. I know if I were DMing I would have Necromancy spoil the meat. Yuck!

You know, Fitz, some people are into Kentucky Fried Zombie. Say that anything ... ANYTHING tastes good when ya fry it up with the Colonel's secret recipe. But I'm into Kentucky Fried Troll. That gives you a bucket of fried goodness, and I do declare that the finger-lickin' deliciousness never ends!
