Yeah, it’s a good use but I like the level up to happen during a rest. You need down time to reflect and learn so, until you finish the rest you don’t have those higher level abilities at your disposal.

Yeah, but Benny would be out of slots. Unless we want to take another short rest for them to replenish but I don't think that's a good idea. Next short rest!

I’m not sure where they came from? If it’s from Aid, nobody has them because Benny didn’t cast them. Does someone have leadership feat?

Caer sees the brazier up ahead, and uses attempts to feel, through the web of nature, for a source of fuel and ignite it. Meanwhile, he stops and looks carefully at the skeletal remains in the alcove.

OOC: Bones: 1D20 = [17] = 17 Investigation check on bones passed. Uses druidcraft (firecraft) to light brazier, if there is a fuel source. I'm a firestarter, wicked firestarter...

The brazier won’t light with druidcraft since it’s a magical flame.

You were given magical striking sticks. It takes 1d3+1 (rolled secretly) rounds to light it this way. If you focus your ‘life force’ into the striking sticks(spend 1hd) it lights with a single action. I posted this at the beginning of Chapter 3.

I kind of like the idea of using a cantrip making it easier but I’m not sure how incorporate it. I could secretly reduce the time it takes but then it would be a no-brainer to use a cantrip because cantrips don’t use a resource so it’s not really interesting.

Let me think about it.

What about if using a cantrip adds to the number of rounds? So you can have two people instead of one contributing. So two people are using their action but it’s faster. You still need to do it in conjunction with the sticks.
