(OOC) The Dog Days of Doom

@Kobold Stew Anson doesn't encounter anyone on the way to the chest. Maybe you're waiting to see if snarf changes his action and moves in? Caer already moved 30 feet so unless he double moves, he won't be in melee for sneak attack.

Did you want to ready your action instead? It doesn't change anything, really. You'll be readying to fire as soon as someone enters melee with the creature. The downside of declaring it, though, is if nobody moves in, you don't get an attack. Both Havoc and Stratus are within range to close.

Sure -- if Caer isn't there, I can use the Ready action, with the trigger, "if an ally is within 5' of the enemy" which will trigger the attaxck and get the SA bonus.

With the fast-and-loose time frame of PBP I wasn't sure we were worrying about that, but I am absolutely prepared to use my reaction to get this off with SA (and if no one does, and if the creature itself doesn't move within 5' of someone, then no attack, but Anson is by the chest.

Thanks.

We are very close to done but things have slowed down. I leave to Scotland on Wednesday morning and won’t post for two weeks. It would be nice to finish up in the next couple of days if people could post their turns
