So assuming Erevan comes into the cave, are you resting there or moving in the direction that you think is towards Gracklstugh?

If resting, short or long? (I always let you get the benefit of a short rest during a long rest so if it is interrupted you at least get to spend HD and regain short rest powers - assuming your short rest isn't interrupted, of course...).

I do not get anything back from a short rest, aside from the HD for healing. However, Ezraen is ready to keep moving, until we get to another secure hidey-hole, that is. (Approximately how long has it been since we last had a long rest?)

Down for a long rest.

Not sure I'm ready to totally abandon the boats & supplies. There may be one or two left, and I doubt what's left of the kuo-toa will want a fight with us...

Plus, not sure heading into random tunnels is a great idea. We don't know who (what?) made them. We don't know if they have any other exits at all, or where they might be if they even exist. Finally, we have no idea where they actually head. We've only seen one tiny section. That it looks like this one small part may head vaguely toward Gracklestugh doesn't mean it continues that way.

So...gonna think about it while we wait for JustinCase to post. Maybe he'll have thoughts.

Well. I guess it does rhyme with baboon...so it should have been obvious, right?

Is there a pronunciation note in the AP? Looking at both of the names, they're almost the same to me if you replace the L with a D.

Lee-mo-goooh-gooon vs. Dee-mo-gor-gon

Just gotta yell it in your head like a gurgling fish-man who maybe can't say rs.

I think that before we take a long rest, we better scout out the tunnel to see if the other end emerges somewhere or if it just goes on and on... I am just nervous that 1) this was a cave of some predator and 2) there is the Demon Prince looking for things to destroy and rot with his crazy tendrils!

Anyway, yes, let us wait for JustinCase to chime in.

Erevan is only 4 hp below his max, but regaining spell slots is a good idea. As for the cave/tunnel, he's sceptical but also doesn't want to get back to Demogorgon. So he'll follow the others, albeit grumpily. :)

I was posting from work today so limited ability to keep up on rules and such and we had a hockey game last night so I'm behind on book keeping. So I want to get caught up before we move into this "dungeon" you've found.

Short rest:

Sarith spends 2 HD
[roll0]

Eldeth spends 1 HD
[roll1]

Topsy spends 1 HD
[roll2]

Derendil spends 4 HD (all he has left)
[roll3]
