Oh...and yes Surana's dex adds to damage for the crossbow. So that's 15 damage. He's taken 60 damage so far (and negated 9 with a parry)

Yikes, that officer is no joke. Could Orsik maybe try the Athletics check to pull on the rope since he's not up to anything this turn? (I'm assuming Eldeth is still the one using her turn to reload the bow.)

Orsik says "one drow on a rope...goin' up!"

Edit: he'll go when the NPCs go. If you guys get his foci he'll be available as a healing/spell resource for you.

Hey all...let's pause the game for just a bit. I really don't want to use a gridded combat system for this game. I want to keep it as Theater of the Mind as possible. But I think there are enough moving pieces in this fight that we need at least a thumbnail sketch. Let me put that together before anyone gets too confused.
JustinCase Is Erevan on the bridge to the Guard tower or on the one to Ilvara's tower. It makes no difference to me. He could have got to either and it really wouldn't have made a difference to what the drow did. For Ezraen's action to make sense you need to be on Ilvara's bridge _or_ you'll have to move past the one drow soldier and the officer (as well as Ront and Derendil...it's awful crowded on a narrow bridge and ledge).

I imagine that with my charge, I am on the ledge now, just a bit from the door. (At the cave wall, facing the door to Ilvara's tower.) I would assume that since Erevan was helping me draw the attention of the Vrock, that he would have run with me, though perhaps not. That is what I envisioned. The red circle is where I pictured me and Erevan being.

That's what I would think too. I just don't want to assume where Everan is without being certain.

Also, I'm not sure what you mean by "ready the dodge action". You dodge until the start of your next turn. Right?

You are correct, but I feel silly going ho, spin, parry, thrust! Describing it as keeping my eyes open ready to move if the need arises! I will await Erevan's response!

:)

I assumed I was on the same bridge as Ezraen. That would make the most sense to me.
