Well, I doubt you'll be fighting alone. Ploop probably wouldn't accept that. Plus, Erevan may stay behind to try and talk Ploop into reconciliation with his daughter. Heck, the NPCs might stay as well. Shuushar has to, to translate.

This feels more like a "time out" to me. A deal just went horribly wrong. If violence is avoided (the kuo-toa may yet attack Surana, after all), it would probably benefit both sides to take a breather and adjust to a new strategy. Not like we're getting away with that original ruse at this point anyway.

When Surana sobers up from her little rage-bender and gets Topsy to safety, she may find an interest in fighting again. After all, this deal presents a chance to kill Ploop's daughter...the deal was just to spare her "if possible."
