I don't know how this is going to go down, but if a "final showdown" is imminent... would it be possible to teleport the River Gang in it? Could make for a grand finale?

Do you really think they'd leave the "key" outside the door on a table? I mean, they might - some people leave it under the mat - but I wouldn't bank on it.

Imani was overly hopeful. You still need one more idol and the River Gang is far more capable of getting it even if they also take a rest, which the Dispensables can't function without. In fact, there's so much to do in there that you'll need at least two parties doing it.

I doubt I'm going to get any nay-sayers on this idea, but I've been thinking of letting you level-up with the long rest again. It seems funny to me that people would gain two levels in two days, but the whole adventure is this one dungeon and it's fun to explore characters for multiple levels of play.

I'd have to dial up a few things (fully rested level six characters will be massively dangerous compared to what is written, for the most part) but I can easily expand on the ending a bit.

What do you think? Do you want this game to go a bit longer than it otherwise would?

Level up! Level up! Level six is a new feature for each type of mystic, further differentiating them from each other. It'll be a good playtest for them.

I knew you'd like the idea.

The Dispensables have to find a good place to rest, though. This is not it. The cult's been hit pretty hard, but they still outnumber you. They have a power-vacuum to fill, and they need to reorganize, but it really doesn't make much sense tgat they'd leave you be for 6 to 8 hours.

They can go sit in the Hydra lair. Nobody would bother them there. Do the cultists know the Hydra is dead?

If the River-Gang only takes a short rest and hits them from the north, though... maybe.

Does the River Gang need a Long Rest? What if they get a level-up with the short rest (gaining all the new-level stuff fresh, but being down whatever they used)? Would they be fresh enough to keep going? I think Kurzon is out of Hit Dice and Lay-on-Hands. A&A are pretty low on Hit Dice and PP...

What do you think?
