I apologize, I didn't want to sound pushy, but I had made a perception check and I thought perhaps some were waiting on the results... ah well, I hope we can get this going soon, I am looking forward to the finale!

No problem, I am happy to answer questions when things are unclear. Sorry if I left room for confusion!

Looks like the browser thing worked. Too bad my Chrome is screwing it up. I HATE using "Edge".

Not sure if it was the right moment to post the Lorenn's turn :)... Anyway, it's what he does during the fall.

I'm not sure how he'd do the Somatic components while holding on to Terrus for dear life, speaking of which...

(Yes, but as per Xanethars Guide, Page 77, if you fall from a great height, you instantly descend 500 feet. If you’re still falling on the next round, you descend another 500 ft. So he should be at the bottom by round 2, then spreads his wings and breaks the fall. Also, Terrus will use a bonus Action to change his focus to Adaptive Body, which lets him not need to breath.)

Unfortunately, the rules you cite would have him smashing into the ground. "Fall 500 feet instantly" says nothing about creatures with a fly speed being able to catch themselves. In fact, it takes their fly speed from the top of the fall (making you still fall 270 feet afterward).

I'm okay with you attempting it, sure, but it's not no-check automatic. I suspect Terrus can pull off the maneouver, though. I'll post some check DCs and some possible failure scenarios in the IC thread.

I suspected someone would come up with a way to get a few PCs down faster. I'm glad to see it.

I will post a "Udit regains courage" post today if I can

Good! BTW, I don't think I mentioned: You can't see the bottom of the rift from up top. Just looks like a big crack of darkness. Its partly from light, partly from the poisonous haze, and partly from the nature of the Dracolich.

Which reminds me... That isn't a simulacrum down there. It's an Ancient Green Dracolich. You don't want to fight him.
