D&D 5E (2024) Opinions on the Topaz Dragon Reverse Wings?

I noticed that Topaz Dragons back in Fizban's Treasury of Dragons had reverse wings but it looks like the art for them (linked below) in the Book of Dragons really emphasizes that feature on them.

Is it really that "controversial"? I like that they're wings are that way, along with the floating crystals that all Gem Dragons get as their signature features, it certainly distinguishes them from other similarly coloured Dragons (like Gold, Brass, Copper and Bronze).

Given that gem dragons now have floating gems as part of their bodies, having other impossible body features seems fine to me.

I hate it, but in that way where I wouldn’t have them change it because I want dargons to have impossible physiology and not be natural rationally comprehensible creatures.

And I not only dislike the wing structure, I also don't like the "floating" dorsal spines or the general thickness of the neck.

Sometimes a dragon should just look like a dragon.

I don’t see myself looking at this and saying “yeah, I need more topaz dragons in my game” or “I really need to glue the wing on my dragon mini backwards so I have a topaz dragon!”
