Order of the Stick: How long will they put up with Miko?

she has crossclass ranks in survival. as was pointed out with Belkar and she comparing track skill. and her ability bonus was more than Belkar's.

i'm thinking you are right. she has at least all 18s.

If she has Track, that's five feats. That should be it for her: Exotic Weapon Proficiency: Bastard Sword, Improved Two-Weapon Fighting, Quick-Draw, Track, and Two-Weapon Fighting plus her monk bonus feats Improved Unarmed Strike, Stunning Fist, and (probably) Combat Reflexes.

1. There should have been no surprise round.

Debatable.

2. You cannot combine a partial charge with drawing weapons.

Quickdraw.

5. When Elan tries to give Belkar the potion, Miko hits him with an AoO "ruining the potion". As far as I can tell, that is a made up rule.

Sundering a held object is not a made up rule. Allowing Sunder to be used on an AoO may be a house rule, depending on who you ask. :)

Given the frames at the beginning, not really.

Quickdraw.

Yes, we've gone over that. It means that all of Miko's feats have probably been defined by the stip.

She didn't sunder the potion, she damaged Elan. Read Rich's explanation, he's quite clear on this. She cannot both damage Elan and sunder the potion with an AoO.

Amusingly enough, I think there's a typo in the code for Haley in #251.

...or I'd still be thinking with my Trouser Titan.
Oze ktpp ja asf...:
"You call it the..."

You're just a mean... other people like crap.
Afw xzpd dtod dsf kyjfd.:
"Ten gols says she cries." This is the typo, looks like Rich forgot to turn the 'd' on gold into another letter and just left it a d, which means an 's' in today's strip.

...you're going to have to drag us there in chains.
Ofts!:
"Yeah!"

Yep. The latest comic seems to support the "annoying DMPC" interpretation, if anything.

DM: You hit her for how much? Oh. Okay...*scribble scribble* Yeah, she's got a few more hit points. She attacks you and gets *roll roll...nudge* another natural 20! Critical hit! You take...how many hit points do you have again?

Player 1: Fourteen.

DM: Fifteen points of damage.

Player 2: I attack. *roll roll* Hey, natural 20! A critical! I roll a 19 to confirm, and do *roll roll* 25 points of damage. Booyah!

DM: Okay. She's still fighting.

Player 2: After 25 points of damage? You said she only had a few more.

DM: 25 is still a few.

Player 3: If you guys need me, I'll be over here playing Final Fantasy. There's less railroading in these CRPG plots.

Kinda sad to see Belkar dead or unconscious and Durkon a dirty turncoat

Thor would not be pleased. Betraying your friends is what Loki does. Drinking heavily and hitting things with a hammer to solve problems is more like Thorite dogma.

Oh great. Miko runs the party now? OotS has taken a big turn for the worse (and Durkon is a dirty traitor whom i hope Roy kills when he gets free - assuming the 'DM' ever lets them free again).

I really don't see a lot of funny happening here. So the next 10 strips will be Miko dragging the OotS to her Lord in chains? Hopefully we'll go back to where the real comedy gold is - with Xylon!

Durkon should be losing his clerical abilities pretty soon, since he's just betrayed a Norse god of battle by surrendering like a wounded kitten.

Pfft! Thor's too busy betting with Loki whether he can split a boulder with a lightning bolt while blindfolded. :)
