Order of the Stick: How long will they put up with Miko?

Your attempt to prove your point has failed. Mainly due to the fact that I'm not playing a character in your game, but partly due to my not finding the 'fingers in your ears' attitude entertaining.

No, you find it very entertaining. You keep posting.

No you don't. You find it dull. Isn't railroading fun?
Proving only that Rich Burlew knows how to construct humour, and you don't. Context is everything, SR. :) (Smiley edited in after fact; note to self: preview even short messages before posting.)

I wasn't being humorous, I was only railroading. Burlew's railroading isn't humorous either.

On the contrary, I find you very entertaining Storm Raven. But unfortunately, you aren't railroading us, since we've chosen to be here and post. Our choice, our spotlight. :)

I disagree. If anything deserves a send-up in OotS, it's bad dm behavior.

Quite so, Jester. A truth if ever there was one.

I'm kind of half-watching Between The Lions on PBS here with my daughter, and there's a plot point in the episode where the young lion doesn't like how Goldilocks and the Three Bears turns out. He rails about it for a while, then someone suggests an alternative...

"Y'know, you could write your own ending..."

There it is. Where a fan's preconceived notions about someone else's creative vision collide, fan fiction is created.

Go to it, Storm Raven.

go back about 4 pages on this thread or so iirc. i did write the next strip.

I'm having trouble deciding which I find more amusing. The OotS comics or this thread. I think both are hysterical.

Hopefully Rich will read this thread and at some point maybe even find a way to lampoon gaming messageboard flamewars within the comic - perhaps during the OotS' next "downtime" period the characters will do some posting rather than read fan mail.

And I do believe the current storyline has proven that, while Paladins are themselves Lawful Good, they were created by the Forces of Chaos and have exceeded their creators' design goals. :)
