Pineapple Express: Someone Is Wrong on the Internet?

I have never seen Forest Gump. And no, I will not ever see Forest Gump. Why?

Because I hate being told what to do. So when people tell me I have to watch it because it's a classic or some other such nonsense, I add another year to the time I will wait before watching it. I'm sure I've collected a couple centuries of time at this point.

At least my younger sister finds my reason hilarious.

You have to avoid seeing Forrest Gump. It's not for you.

It's not personal, I don't want to see threads from a currently very new and popular RPG.

I am always happy for people when they find something that they love and are enthusiastic about! But I don't feel any need to participate in certain threads, because the ones I have looked at seem devoid of information and mostly focus on speculation and cheerleading.

Eh, maybe not so different than most threads.

Anyway, I really need to avoid threads touching on areas impacting my actual areas of knowledge. Because they always aggravate me. I'm all like, "No, that's not how it works. Even if you did see something on youtube or reddit."

Especially when the only thing one user does is wait to rebuke/chastize/dismiss and doesn't otherwise participate positively in the threads.

IANAL, but the most popular YouTubers in your profession don't strike me as the best folks in the game, just the ones most determined to build a social media following.

I find their counterparts in my profession worth an eye-roll at best and maddening a lot of the time.
