Any recommendations for OSE stuff? I love what OSE's done with B/X, and the Advanced Fantasy rules are exactly what I want. However, it seems like every time I find an intriguing 3rd party product to use with it, I do a little digging and find it's produced by--or friendly with--chuds.

And boy howdy are there a lot of chuds churning out a lot of stuff!

I'm finding the digging isn't worth the few gold nuggets I find among the manure. Help a fella out?

Stick with the official stuff for OSE. And Dolmenwood, of course. Beyond that, everything Whizbang says. Especially the Stygian Library.

I would recommend the Knock! magazine line, which includes articles, adventures, monsters, etc. They're OSR, not OSE, but the distance between the two is small.

Brad Kerr has recently been hired as an in-house adventure designer by Necrotic Gnome, but he's an award-winning adventure writer on his own. One of his is nominated for an Ennie this year.

The Monster Overhaul, which again is OSR, not OSE, but can be used with it without issue, is absolutely the best bestiary of all time. It is amazing.

Obligatory plugs for The Stygian Library, Into the Wyrd & Wild, any of the Thousand, Thousand Islands books if you can find them, and Tomb of the Serpent Kings.

I know what you mean. Today I found out that my favorite doughnut shop is shutting down. Apparently their tired of the hole business.

Ugh. How did I miss the pun in the first post? As someone who obsessively sleeves the cards of any game as soon as I open it, I'm overly empathetic to game table spills.
