Presidential Speech Tonight....

So no "24" or season finale of "Grey's Anatomy" for me .. unless when they said 8 on the radio was 8 EST, in which case I should be good.

Anyone know what time Le Prez is on tonight?

It's only a 20-minute speech. The networks are supposedly running everything else in thier entirety after the speech is over, so 8:20-9:20 for Prison Break, 9:20 to 10:20 for 24, etc.

Since it's sweeps this week, I can't imagine any local affiliate would be stupid enough to not show the regular programming.

Awesome, thanks! ABC.com was still showing Grey's Anatomy starting at 7 central but my boss says it's now been bumped to 8 central. He said the speech is at 8 EST/7 CST, anyone know for sure, to confim?

You forget the post-speech analysis session. They usually have one.

Yes, and also at 7:57 if you happened to be watching a live cable news channel instead of the main networks. Somebody messed up and gave him a false start signal and he started the speech three minutes early, so the cable news channels started to run with it. At 7:58 somebody stopped him and the channel I was watching then switched back to a commerical after around 15 seconds of him sitting and waiting to start again.
