Real Professions anyone? or What did you do when you grew up?

I'm a programmer/electrical engineer (multiclassed!). I work on air traffic control systems on aircraft carriers.
Hey, my uncle does the same thing. Neat.

Well, I'll 'assume' that future professions are feasible in this thread as well. I plan majoring in Psychology and pursue a career as a Psychiatrist and/or Marriage Counselor. Or become a world-famous author and live in the lap of luxury off of book sales. I can dream, can't I? :D

I'm a trained physicist (with a German university diploma - roughly equivalent to a Master's Degree), and I've been looking for a research position so that I can make my Ph.D. ever since I completed my mandatory term of military service last year.

Being called "Herr Doktor" has a certain ring to it, don't you agree? :D

I'm a technical editor. I do work for Sandia National Laboratories and other government things (I'm involved in a major project for the WIPP site recertification right now). For some unknown reason, they decided I needed high-speed internet access in my office. Thus, the rapid growth of my post count in the last year.

I'm a freshman at Tulane University. I plan to double major in Computer Science and Math with a minor in video game development. My dream job is programming video games.

I'm lucky enough to be a web developer for one of the best public library systems in the United States. I'm doubly lucky in that I am also using my degree (Computer Science).

Full-time stay at home Dad with two kids/Full-time RPG designer-author/Part-time employee of a local comic and gaming store/Part-time Marketing Director for a RPG company. I'm really multiclassed...

Yes, I am a very busy person who struggles to maintain his sanity. :D

I left my job in accounting to become a child care specialist(I'm a babysitter..lol), so that I could become a full time mom and wife. But every day I am hopeful that my professional karaoke career will take off. :D Not so exciting to most, but I am happy.

Sure does, but do you pronounce it Frank-en-stein or Fronk-en-steen? :)

I'm an RN at a local hospital.
