Recruiting Into the World CLOSED

I'm recruiting for a new D&D 3.5e game that I'll be running here at ENWorld. Basically, all characters are going to start out at what I call Level Zero, and we will build from there. The background for the story is that your all peasants, who's little farming thorp has just died off due to resource mis-management. Your forced out into the world to seek your survival, and if your lucky, your fortune.
Recruiting
All of the characters are between the ages of 13 and 15, with very little in the terms of background. Your basically too poor to be dirt farmers, and you know nothing of the world outside your little farming thorp. Your parents have either died, or abandoned you. Besides, your all old enough to scrape out your own existence now.

Post your initial characters here, and once we have four to six players, we'll get going.

Here are the character generation rules:

• Point Buy 30 pts
• 5 HP
• 5 skill points, spend 1:1 on any skill
• Equipment: The clothes on your back

Eventually the campaign setting will be revealed to you as we go, and you will pick a class during your quest. There is a city to the north named Barlonis, and a city to the east named Bastoken, and a city to the south named Voso. All who have ventured to the west have never returned.

I'm looking for players who will post daily, and are in it for the long haul. We will be building our own characters history as we go, and if all goes well, it will be epic.

I'm in; probably going for wizard. Would there be an opportunity for him to train at a Wizard Academy of some sort, prior to level 1? I'd like to pick up the Collegiate Wizard and Precocious Apprentice feats (from here).

I'm sure we can work it into the story line. Basically the idea here is that instead of coming up with a character concept, we will build them along the way as part of the game. If your characters motivation is to study at a Wizard Academy, we will make it happen.

This sounds like it could be a very interesting and very fun game. I'd like to join in, although I'm not sure just what kind of character I'd like to play yet.

And a question: is the game human-only? You said nothing restricting people from picking other races, but I got the vibe that the community we're coming from wouldn't be especially racially diverse, and I was curious.

I would like to join in, although I have to admit that I won't be able to to post daily for the next two weeks.

However, I'm absolutely in for such kind of story (I've been trying to bully my players in the RL game to give it a try, but they absolutely refuse to give up their power level campaigns )

I am thinking about a male character who will develop or have since the start a "fever dream" to become a ruler of a kingdom. Thus I will be going for a high-charisma player, probably a fighter type. I haven't still decided if he will go for the good or evil route, or a mix of those, or he will face a change.

I suppose I would just start him as a tabula rasa with the seed of ambition, and then he will respond to the environment,

Count me interested. Posting shouldn't be a problem. though I'm about to move, it's only about 4 blocks away so no significant interruption. However I would like to second PM's question about race before i work out any details.

Actually on second thought I'm thinking something rangeresque some kid who's a little wild, and good with a sling or pointy stick.

I'm interested in playing. My general idea is a girl who ran away from her dead beat family only to fall into a world on the flip side of the law (i.e. roguish pursuits).

I'm definitely interested. I love the thought of being a nobody and moving on up... big time. I'd like to eventually move into a barbarian class...

Mikhail would be a bruiser, not smart enough to know his own strength, but able to till the fields with the best of them. A big, dumb oaf, but very jovial and able to laugh at himself with ease. He'd be 15 and would look at the others as his siblings to protect, as he's lost his own family due to the common sickness that he was able to fight off. A tall, thick boy, who's just starting to sprout his first facial hairs and wears them with pride. He'd be at home chopping wood and loves the outdoors, for Mikhail there's nothing better than an honest days work under the sun. Long, chestnut hair, which looks unkempt and dirty as his family didn't have enough funds for baths. He has soft green eyes, similar in colour to moss. Mikhail looks more like 18 due to his large stature and work-hardened features.

STR 16, DEX 14, CON 16, INT 8, WIS 12, CHA 8

1 skill point in Listen, Survival, Swim, Handle Animal, & Spot.

Oops, sorry. I knew I left something out. I'm only allowing Humans. Yeah, its a thorp of about 38 people and shrinking. Not exactly a breeding ground for racial diversity.

The wild kid. Nobody's quite sure if his parents died or just packed up and went. Ether way he's hung around for a while providing some of the worse off farms a rabbit or squirrel for a share of the stew.

Edit: Human it is then do we start with a feat? If so point blank. I'm assuming skills are as written above.
