Haruka responds to Ironheart's glare with a smirk. She then unleashes a flurry of lashing eldritch tendrils at the boar, only to stare aghast as they all miss their mark. She moves through the forest, and upon catching sight of the horned fey, she repeats her harsh whisper.

“Good thing you don’t wear boots, your Goatship!” echoes the gnome’s taunting voice from the greenery.

“With rope-tying skills like the ones you just tried on me, you’d be tripping over your boot laces all day!”

Out from the bushes steps the most outlandish-looking gnome you’ve ever seen. He wears flashy and slightly psychedelic clothes, some of it colorful but most in dark and raw tones. From the neck down he’s covered with evocative brooches, badges, patches, and medallions, in addition to a host of other assorted tidbits, tokens, and gadgets – not all of them having an immediately recognizable use.

What really draws attention, however, is the extraordinarily bizarre hair that crowns him like a huge, wild, and curly puzzle. Knots, braids, and other hairdos poke out seemingly at random, though his head is dominated by rolled up sizeable segments, particularly with regards to his sideburns. The main feature is his impossibly long goatee, however, unrolled and somehow attached to serve as the “strings” on the instrument in his hands – something that can vaguely be described as a wicked, six-stringed lute.

Well-nested in his hair sits the tiny stone creature you’ve been spotting glimpses of. It currently holds on to two braids like some sort of reins, resembling an undersized gargoyle riding a steed into battle.

“Ouchies!” it utters while pointing at Derien’s battered frame.

Rhole whips up a snappy riff on the instrument, giving off a characteristic amplified sound that a lute would never be able to produce on its own. Derien feels himself being so awestruck by the display that he forgets all about his pain and grief and must move his feet to the beat.

“Will you look at that! The Great Ultra-Intense Thundering Audio Ripper just went off all by itself!”

Finally, Rhole turns to the boar and shoos it off.

“Hey, keep your tusks away from him you stumbling sack of unroasted bacon!”

[sblock=Actions]Move: To I8.
Minor: Majestic Word on Derien to heal him surge + 5 hp, and slide him to G12 (or another spot of his choice)
Standard: Vicious Mockery on boar, that misses spectacularly.

Sorry guys, must have dragged the Natural Uno Curse in from the Closed Eye.

[sblock=Probably should have asked this sooner...]ren, how are you running combats? Group initiative, or the traditional style?[/sblock]

[sblock=OOC]
I allow you to post in whatever order you want, but input the actions based on your initiative rolls. As you all go together you can always delay actions to better plan your actions.

i.e. if joe the fighter is going first for the PC's and ken the cleric is planning to righteous brand the orc, ken will let joe know that he should delay until after the brand hits for the bonus to hit.

Hey, I didn't forget this time, I've just been too busy to post today!

Ironheart sways back and forth, seeming confused by the satyr's melody. As the gnome's cacophony cuts through it, he shakes his leafy head and breaks into a lumbering run, charging towards the boar.

[sblock=OOC]
Charge to E12 and attack the boar. Invisible Castle's down so you'll have to roll it.

(I notice it just says "Bad Guys" at 13, instead of listing them separately. Will the boar always be going before the Satyr? Because if the satyr goes first I might want to use Student of the Sword to mark it, since I won't be dazed anymore on the boar's turn.)

Shaken, and not entirely sure what just happened, Derien climbs to his feet.

Ikni reels from the dizzying melody, but manages to whirl her blade down at the satyr, invoking thunder to bind it nearby. The satyr looks at the blade falling on him with terror, but suddenly the unicorns horn glows brightly, throwing off Ikni's aim and her blade just misses the satyr.

Charge to E12 and attack the boar. Invisible Castle's down so you'll have to roll it. - Hits AC 23 for 12 damage, I assumed you want to mark it (that one's a fighter-type mark right? If he shifts he draws an OA and you negate the shift?

Also, even if the Satyr delayed until the boar went the dazed effect ends as he can't delay to sustain or delay an effect on him or caused by him.

No, it's a warden-type mark - the language saying "this ability allows you to mark an opponent" and "these are the effects you can put on opponents you have marked" are separate. I can use my Warden's Grasp and Warden's Fury on this guy, but I have no access to Combat Challenge no matter how I mark them.
