Small comfort, given the cornucopia of small creatures we've been fighting, such as gnomes, chokers, creepers, red caps, and *shudder* needlefang drakes. How's that for an unpleasant way to wake up.[/sblock]

The ground here has nice soft green grass. No sounds are heard nor anything else spotted. The site is shaded from the tall trees surrounding it.

Hmmm...not sure because Rhole will still be level 1 (you will get 100xp for the challenge) as I'd have to re-jig the final encounter(s) to compensate. Although I can give Rhole an advance on his final xp to bump him to level 2 and then I'm fine with it.

So...if Dunamin is ok with the advance (can't see why not) then sure level 3 is fine.

Ikni surveys the close trees hovering around with a slight frown. "Not as good as a nice cave, but I suppose it will have to do." With a creaking sound from tired joints, she settles into a meditative pose, sword balanced across her knees. If uninterrupted, she remains there for perhaps half an hour before retiring to bed.

And, I was (player hat) delighted / (DM hat) disappointed to see needlefang drakes get the nerf bat in the last round of errata. [/sblock]

Between Ironheart's natural knowledge, Rhole's and Ikni's ability to tap into the arcane elements floating through the Feywild and Derien's keen perceptive talents, the group finds a sheltered grove, with large broad trunked trees tightly enclosed that should keep you from outside eyes. There is only one entrance large enough to accomodate a creature of any larger than a halfling.

Rhole wanders in through the opening effortlessly while stretching his frame, finding the dimensions much to his liking. Rock jumps out of his hair and mimics the act, before curiously inspecting the tree tops for overgrown debris to play with.

When the group begins to settle in for the night, the bard’s hair “sinks down” over his eyes to cover as would a wide-brimmed hat. The Great Ultra-Intense Thundering Audio Ripper is back in his hands, while simultaneously one of his sideburns are unrolled to be played as a violin by Rock on his shoulder.

The duo produce an alternative and relatively quiet lullaby, sporting some distinguishing fast strumming and fuzz effects.

That would be great; then I wouldn’t be hopelessly behind the rest of the group.
If the previous encounters are any indication, Rhole will be well into level 2 after the next one anyway.
