edit: ooc: Also, does anyone have a way to get those guys off Rhole and Haruka?

edit, pt.2: ooc: Also, I 'ported to Q12. Did someone move me?

1) she took 5 more damage from it, but saved at end of turn
2) I messed up the placement of your token. Haruka's in Q12, but that doesn't change any actions, so please just assume you're there.

Am I really still marked by Sword 10? Most marks only last for 1 turn.

Derien: I know you're dazed, but do you (or anybody) have a way to slide some of those enemies even closer together, so I can move in and mark as many as possible? Q12 would be a good place for me to stand, except Haruka's already there.

These marks last the entire encounter. So unfortunately, yes. It's obviously not the same mark as a PC has so no -2 to hit non-marked foes, but it lasts the encounter. [/sblock]

[sblock=Cancel this, that's an ally in P12 - makes it all useless.]

Wow, that is a gigantic pain in the ass.

I guess I'll be eating that mark then.

I dunno why I asked Darien to slide people around, I meant Rhole. But I'm not gonna wait.

Ironheart shakes himself into action and wades through the river, snarling. When he gets onto the bank he glares at the distant eladrin, but spins and charges instead at the knot of struggling friends and enemies to his south. He brings his axe down right over their heads, and at the last second twists it to smack the fey panther heavily with the flat of the blade. There is a crack of breaking bone and it staggers away as Ironheart shoves it away from Rhole.

"I'm helping you out here," he puffs to Haruka. "Can you help me out in turn, and KILL that m***** f***** g**** d***** ELF!"

Rolls are at Online Dice Roller, group name Ring of the Fey Lord.

Font of Life grants a save at start of turn: 19. No longer immobilized.
Athletics check: 20. Not swept downstream.
Move: to N13 (so that Q13 is the closest available square where I can attack the panther)
Standard: charge to Q13, attack Panther with Warden's Lunge: modified 20, hitting for 16 damage, marking it, and pushing it to T15 (Form of the Fearsome Ram bonus)
Free: mark whatever's in P12 and the Harpy with Nature's Wrath

The charge draws an OA from whatever that is in P12, and I take 4 damage for not attacking sword 10.

If Rhole wanted to make a melee attack on the panther, I'll skip the push.

Watching the panther come charging out of the foliage at Rhole's back, Ikni's hands instinctively move in a warding pattern she had seen Oomailiq use many times, but never successfully completed herself. This time it works, and a barrier of arcane force interposes itself between Rhole and the charging panther. Encouraged by this, she stands, but slips on the mossy rocks of the riverbed and is taken by the current for a moment, but keeps her feet. She surges out of the water, swinging her blade at the back of the harpy, but misses.

[sblock=actions]Interrupt: channeling shield when the panther attacks Rhole. Rhole takes 8 less damage from the attack (so 0) and my next successful attack does an extra 3 damage. If I ever have one.

Athletics 1d20+8=14, so she's swept 3 squares E.
Move: stand up
Standard: charge the harpy (Q14, I believe) using Foesnare. 1d20+9+1=13 vs AC; not going to bother rolling damage.

renau and others: just FYI, I'm looking for opportunities to use dimensional vortex, another immediate interrupt that could potentially redirect a big (melee) hit from an ally to an enemy.

Ironheart wades out of the river and maneuvers his way along the bank, behind Derien, to solid ground. "Now you're gonna get it," he rumbles, charging towards the cowering Eladrin. He strikes it with a mighty crash that sends it flying into the river, and without pausing, leaps over it to land on the far bank, next to the bowman. "Surprise!" he cackles at it, as his roots unfurl to wrap insidious tendrils around both his victims.

Keeping my rolls from last time:

Font of Life grants a save at start of turn: 19. No longer immobilized.
Athletics check: 20. Not swept downstream.
Move: to P14, then O12
Standard: Fearsome Ram Attack: shift to Q6, attack sword 10 for 19, hitting for 16 damage, pushing it to N3 (in the river) and knocking it prone. As a followup, shift to M2.
Free: mark whatever's Sword 10 and Bow 88 with Nature's Wrath

Haruka responds to the winged creature with the dry voice of the dark fey, "You stupid, wretched mongrel. You attacked us, remember? I didn't want any of this, especially not, let's be honest," Haruka's face twists in disgust, "you."

Her tattoos tear themselves off her skin again as they wind their way through the air towards one of the eladrin, but the fey is able to fend them off. Haruka flinches as a long cut opens up on her cheek, and the inky tendrils retract, laying against her skin once more.

[sblock=Actions] Random numbers courtesy of Online Dice Roller, Ring of the Fey Lord room.

Standard: Vampiric Embrace against Sword 20, "hits" Will 12. And that's with Prime Shot, Rhole's bonus, and CA. So I'll use Sacrifice to Caiphon to take a point of damage and not lose the power. At least Sword 20 doesn't get an AoO, on account of being dazed. In the unlikely event that VE hits, Sword 20 takes 13 necrotic damage, 7 untyped damage, and I gain 8 temp hp.

Save vs daze with a 16, fail vs immobile with a 8.[/sblock]

Displaying a contemptuous indifference to the man who's trying to kill him, Derien splashes more fire over the winged creature. This time it catches, and the light it sheds washes over Rhole.[sblock=Actions]Standard: Sacred Flame the woman, eating an OA from Sword 20. 24 vs Reflex, 9 damage, and Rhole gets to make a saving throw. Keep the Song of Courage alive, we clearly need it :/

Save versus dazedness: Natural One.[/sblock]
