For the early part of second season, they tried to explore more of the alien heritage and conspiracy arc but they were fast losing audience as well as TV rating. So they went back to the teen angst midseason but by then the nostalgia has come and gone.Fast Learner said:Roswell, on the other hand, was 90% teen angst and 10% alien mystery. Buffy is, say, 50% teen angst and 50% supernatural ass kicking (maybe even 30/70, depending on the season).
Roswell, on the other hand, was 90% teen angst and 10% alien mystery. I just kept waiting for the ratio to switch, but it never happened while I was watching.
