very good book...

I love how jarlaxle evolves and is shown as a possible hero as many suspected
but WTH has happened ot Cattiebrie and Regis?!?!? GAH!!!!!
stuck in an illusionary paradisical limbo forever?? that ain't heaven
one hopes the jarlaxle can find 'em and a way to get 'em out!
Rather messy but honourable deaths for 'em!
sort of same for Cadderly. I don't mind heroes dying bravely for their ideals, even when you care for 'em, holy **** i've been reading those characters for over 20 years now IIRC, so I do care about 'em...but rather they went bravely into that final night than...a sort of ..odd ending?
I presume he either didn't wish to slaughter 'em as he cared for 'em so much, OR, some odd way to bring them back eventually...but Caddelry's end is odd, it seems to indicate his spirit went on to heaven, and yet is left warding the site forever...hm..
then again, with my outlook on the spiritual, eternity isn't an issue as when yer divorced form the Causality of the normal world, time really does have no meaning, so it's not eternal for him.
