Scotley's Tomb of Horrors 3.5

[sblock=OOC @ DM]If Scott doesn't post by morning, feel free to use this roll for harrison Ref Save: (1d20+5=13) or roll it yourself as his Ref bonus is only +5, he is alive regardless of if he makes it or not having 91 hp :). Just trying to keep things moving, as 5 days is a long time without a post![/sblock]Looking around at the devastation, Ballista shakes her head. "Well that was smart of us. I must have been on that boat for too long to have my wits rattled to these lengths.
If we'll be taking the rest of the day to heal and maybe excavate one of those rock piles over there, then I can spend the rest of my spellcasting abilities healing as well."
She helps move rocks and get the rest of the group out of the trapped cavern. Then she heads back in real quick and walks up the wall to see if the boulders that fell from the ceiling were covering a vent or trap door of some kind. (without touching anything else of course.)

"Thank you, Zorn, Ballista, for your much-appreciated assistance. It will certainly be a quicker job getting the party back on their feet with three of us helping with the healing than if I had to do it myself. As to resting for the remainder of this day, while I don't relish the thought of us being idle for such a length of time, we do, in fact, seem to be fresh out of areas to explore, so I think that a re-grouping might just be in order so that we can figure out what to do next."

Logan will start with a Cure Serious Wounds for Zorn. OOC: Scotley, another roll, please?

OOC: There's also the matter of the strength damage that the hag inflicted. Logan has had one night rest since then, hasn't he? Maybe not. Anyway, another day's rest is sure to improve his condition.

Ballista quickly finds that the ceiling was poorly constructed making it collapse at any prodding. However, the natural stone above the fallen ceiling is quite solid and provides no obvious way forward.

OOC: You have two additional rock piles you could excavate one where the 'skulls' ' nose would be and one where the other 'eye' would be.

OOC: I'll let you spontaneously cast the raise dead. What the heck you're gonna need it. Cure Serious (3d8+5=16).
I thought that it was +1 per CL. That would make it +9 instead of +5, wouldn't it? And thanks for the Raise Dead ruling. I'm sure my fellow party members will be very grateful. As a side note, however, since I took over Logan from someone else, I'd be perfectly happy to only cast Raise Dead when it's prepared in advance, if you'll let me go back and re-work Logan's prepared spells. That way we'd most likely be limited to two or three raise deads. Just a thought.

"Thank you, Ballista! May the glorious sun always shine its pure light upon you and may you never fear any chill with Pelor's warmth around you!"

Logan now casts Cure Serious Wounds on Ballista, Garagos, and Harrison, healing 28, 22, and 22, respectively. Three Cure Serious Wounds to help heal the party after the passage collapse. (3d8+9=28, 3d8+9=22, 3d8+9=22)

"Ok, who's next, please?"

Already cast Ressurection (True} on Jillian from the scroll, and Cure Serious on Zorn. I went ahead and rolled for Zorn, csw=24, Cure Serious for Zorn (3d8+9=24) .

All spells cast so far except the one on Jillian have been from Logan's prepared spells.

Ok, Logan will go ahead and case 1 more CSW on Grackle, and that's the last of the characters in the RG that I'm sure are still playing. So, if I skipped someone it was unintentional. Please let me know?

csw for Grackle = 3d8+9 = 26 csw on Grackle after cave-in trap (3d8+9=26)

Logan says, "Ok, now we're just about going to have to start using the (cure) scrolls. Who is left?"

"Nice light show. I feel a bit better, but something like this again would kill me." Garagos says.

[sblock=OOC]

Garagos could still use some healing. Don't forget the wand. And thanks again.

OOC: Still waiting on a save for Harrison Benz--paging Scott DeWar. Unless of course I missed it somehow?

Sine'Gile and Tsal'Eie, your faithful lizardfolk guides rush to your aid, clearing boulders and dragging the wounded outside for help. Clearly this is a dead end. Perhaps the true entrance is behind one of the other two rock piles?

so very sorry. hard work week and hands are artharitic. hard to type. will be going over thread tonight and catching up

Seeing no lock, Jillian tugs on the door, and hears an ominous click. She instantly realizes that there must have been a trap on the door she missed, but now it is too late. There is only a blank wall behind the false door. The ceiling groans and starts to fall raining boulders on everyone. (damage (16d6=67) or DC23 Reflex save for half).
Reflex save for half damage:

Reflex save for half (1d20+5=20)

HP:18/97 (was still previously damaged i guess?)

]ic[ as rocks are moved about the shield of Harrison bentz is found with one end proped against a fallen bolder to create a lean to effect. under neath is a very suprised harrison as he looks about. "uh, Hi!" a quirky smile on a bruised and battered human shows his life is still with him, though the old bruseds from the prrevious encounter are still showing. [/ic]

OOC: my rg sheet shows him starting at 51 hp befor the trap. i did not remember ever getting much more healing befor this and after the fight with the formian so i guess i will Just go with it. ]/ooc[
