Tatjana

Tatjana quickly closes the distance to the guy and immediately attacks him with a lightning-fast strike to the head, ready to follow-up with a quick stab, if necessary.


OOC: Walk (0 Action) + First Attack (Extraordinary Success, barely; 7 + 6 = 13 Stun Damage; Average Endurance of knocked out from Called Shot; Average Endurance or fall unconscious from Extraordinary Success) + Second Attack + 1 Action to keep him from falling...

Tatjana

Before the guard can react, Tatjana follows up with a second attack, that overwhelms him, and he passes out for a while. Tatjana gently catches him and lowers the falling body to the ground, slowly, to keep the noise down.

Aaron moves quietly down the hall over to Tatjana. He suppresses the urge to whistle, "Remind me not to get on your bad side," he whispers.

He gestures towards the two doors and raises and eyebrow, "Which one first?" he mouths. He carefully removes the fallen man's pistol, and casts a practiced eye over the fellow for any obvious valuables.

Tatjana

Tatjana nods, smiling slightly, then points towards the nearby door, where Xiao Feng's room should be.

Slowly, she moves towards it, reaching for the handle.

 

[Maerdwyn]

Aaron pockets the pistol and also sees a gold chain of dubious quality on the guy's neck.

When Tatjana and he open the door to Xiao Feng's room, there are two bunks - the girl is sleeping in one of the lower beds, while three other girls of various ages who might be any ages from mid teens to mid twenties sleep in the other bed, seemingly peacefully.

By contrast, Xiao Feng's breath is a little ragged, and her pillow is marred by blood that has trickled from her mouth in her sleep. Her face itself looks unbruised or harmed in any other way, but her brow is furrowed and she constantly shifts under the covers as if in pain.

Tatjana

Tatjana wakes the girl up, but makes sure, that she cannot scream by gently holding a hand above her mouth. Once she is aware of her, she softly speaks to her in chinese, telling her that everything is going to be alright, and that they came to get her and her friend out; and that she shouldn't make too much noise. When the girl calms down, Tatjana will remove her hand.

 

[Maerdwyn]

Almost the same instant Tatjana's hand covers the Xiao Feng's mouth, even before the girl opens her eyes, she bites down hard, probably drawing blood. Her eyes fly open and she tries to swing and kick at Tatjana. She is not strong, and Tatjana holds her down easily. Only when she realizes she is completely pinned does she even really look at Tatjana, recognize her and cease her struggles. She is anything but relaxed, however. She stares at Tatjana a second, and then gives a quick nod under the hand.

 

[Thanee]

Tatjana

“Shhh... are you alright? Can you walk? We will get you out of this hole, you and your jie. Carly it is, right? Do you know where she is now?” Tatjana asks silently, then removes her hand enough for her to be able to speak, but holds it close enough, just in case.

 

[Thondor]

Aaron simply stands near the door, keeping an eye and an ear out.

 

[Maerdwyn]

She answers Tatjana in Chinese: "Across the hall - 211 - you will get us out?" Fully awake now, she tries to rise out of bed and move toward the door of the room. In the light from the hall, you can seen bruises covering her arms and legs, and on her first step, her left knee gives out. Tatjana catches her, and Xiao Feng manages to swallow her yelp of pain.

Aaron shifts his gaze from Tatjana and the girl to the downed guard in the hall, then back again. From the other end of the hall, where a stair case leads down to the first floor, two female voices can be heard coming up.
