Jeri was married and had one child .....she divorced her investment banker husband ...and got remarried within a year I believe. This dating thing and the distance was what killed her marriage is what I heard. Her former Hubby saw pictures of his wife in tabloids confronted her.

Not sure if she has had another child. I do know she took almost a year off after voryager ended then joined the cast of that school show ...about the high school in Boston.(I only watched it twice).

Back to topic ....

I also like the theme song ...i think many people have the idea that it should be some orchastra theme. Or have some kind of voice over to tell you what your watching. I also like the fact they call it Enterprise as opposed to Star Trek.

They are doing a decent job of fleshing out the characters and i heard in a coming episode that Jolene Blalock is going to have her character take on a controverisal topic that is quite modern. I don't want to soil it for anyone.

She's currently on FOX's "Boston Public". I got hooked on it was watching "Allie McBeal". Yes, I'm not ashamed to say that I enjoy both shows...

*shrug*. I myself have never watched Boston Public. My teacher friends, however, generally call the show thoroughly unrealistic.

We can separate the art from the artist. Ms. Ryan's private life is just that - private. How or why her previous marriage fell apart is really none of our business.

Heh heh, "Boston Public" .....while I know its okay to bend reality a bit for entertainment sake.......but geez louise. I've never seen a teacher's staff stocked with so many hot babes in my life. Okay, its possible for one or two....but look how many are at Boston Public!

Yeah, cuz so many shows out there that involved real-life occupations have some ugly actors on them. :p Is their one doctor on ER that didn't look good? Or how about the majority of lawyers on many of the shows about law? I'm sure y'all see my point here. :)

It's funny about the realism on Boston Public. My mother used to teach at public school and she mentioned that while the show is over the top, some of the crazy things that happen on the show really do happen in the schools.

Unrealistic, realistic, deosn't matter, this show is over dramatized dribble with bad acting and storylines. Each weeks episode is so over the top that I don't understand how anyone could relate or enjoy any of the characters.

I love the show, mostly because it's one of the few shows on the telly that surprise me now and then. Same with the Practice, Farscape and Buffy/Angel.

And I love the characters. I can't relate with most of them, but I don't expect to. Characters I can relate with are usually very uninteresting.

While I like a lot of other shows, it's usually for completely different reasons. Alias for example (which I really like) I usually can go into detail about what happends in every episode after the first ten minutes.

And every episode is "a very special episode..."

I was watching Ally McBeal, and Boston Public drove me away. I watched the last season of McBeal and it was still good, but not as good as the earlier ones.
