It happens. PCs defecate and urinate, too.

We don't, however, describe any of the above in any great detail-- it mostly happens off-camera, or someone declares intent and we skip an appropriate amount of time.

In one campaign we had a trail of unwed mothers left in the wake of the adventureing aprty because two of the guys had multiple sessions of fun each place we stayed. If was funny when we went back to those towns months later to find all these young women pregnant.

That's one way to seperate the party from their gold. Alimony and child-support payments!

read the story hour in my sig. ;)

my PC was held while urinating on an altar to the BBEG's God.

made him show his hand... so to speak.

In FR there are cheap herbal contraceptives... well cheap for PCs at least... still cost a few gold pieces IIRC. ;)

I generally have no problems with it, as long as everyone is mature and noone is feeling uncomfortable about it, and it is mostly hinted at and not visually described or something, and is taken in a more light-hearted way, so to say.

Romantic encounters definitely can add to a campaign and to character depths, where some adventures, complications, relationships, etc can even be based upon.

I have played with friends who like a mixture of action, romance and sex while others just want action. I have yet to find any that just want romance and sex.

I had a PC that showered gold on ALL local orphans whenever we returned to a town because hey! you never know. His intelligent, talking coin purse hated it: "those last two kids were at least 10 years old and we were only here 3 years ago! What are you doing with MY gold!?!"
