Sneak Attack Question

If you flank someone and you have sneak attack, can you keep using sneak attack?

Example:

Dorf the fighter is on the right side of Mojo the wizard. Feiht the rogue is now on his right side and has 3 attacks. Can the Rogue use sneak attack on all three his attacks?

I say this is too powerful

Yes. As to whether it's too powerful, note that a rogue who makes a habit of staying in melee combat range (so as to get a full attack) is probably being unwise. d6 hit points and probably lower Con than the fighter means he doesn't have much staying power. Fighting a wizard is one thing, but I wouldn't try pulling the same trick against a hill giant.

I'm playing a rogue at the moment and have found that sneak attack doensn't really come up much at the moment. First the target has to be vulnerable to sneak attack, then I have to get the guy either flanked or flatfooted, and then I actually have to hit him. I also have to deal with my hitpoints. I even have less hitpoints than the wizard in my party due to him getting an 18 in con and some luck in his rolls.

My character has sneak attack and ussually i get in a good hit or two before the enemy unloads on me. Then I go limbing off to the Cleric.:D

Rogue's can deal out damage in the right situation, but low HPs and low AC really hurts.

As I recall this question has been debated to death, and I too when I first looked at it thought wow that sounds like it might be broken, but after DMing 3E for the last year and a half I can tell you that it's not. It rarely comes up and when it does you generally think ahh well the rogues isn't completely useless in combat after all....

We have a Fairy Rogue in out party too. That 1d4 round Imp. Invis. (for essentially unlimited times per day) sure is sweet when it comes to the SA ...

A fireball at ground zero should solve that problem. ;)
