OOC: NO, u don't... But I do have a few problems I'm trying to fix right now, and some work I still have to do on this.. I'll post your arrival as soon as I can.

OOC: OK, a little explanation. I originally had this scheduled to happen AFTER the Hutt thing, but I need to do more work for the hutt thing... Sorry about all the delay and mix-ups.

IC:
2 days after the conversation you are all going about your normal busines, readying yourselves for the inevitable confrontation with the hutts. The pilots ingenious course has taken you through some uninhabited systems, and while this makes all of the jedi nervous (They can't help but feel something's going to happen...), They realize that the risks are well worth what they can gain by getting to Nal Hutta early.

late in the 'day' during the 2nd day of their voyage, the warning siren on the bridge goes off, notifying you that there is a large, unaccounted for gravity-well. Before anything can be done, the ship comes suddenly out of Hyperspace, a few klicks away from and heading rapidly (And out-of-control) straight at a HUGE Rectangular spacestation. As the pilot attempts to regain control, he sees another ship.. An IMPERIAL ship!! moving away from the station, dodging fire from 2 turbolasers.

OOC: That's cool, Jemal. Thanks for the info. From stop to GO in two seconds, yikes! :D

Oothar grabs a chair and steadies himself as he calls out to Wepps, "Captain, what can I do to help?"

A scream comes from Garek's cabin, quickly followed by the young noble sprinting onto the bridge.

"Please tell me I can't see what I think I can see..." he pauses before hazarding a guess. "to port?" Garek quickly straps himself into the nearest acceleration couch, and shivers nervously.

OOC: Sorry about the delay, Jemal, I managed to lose track of the game. It won't happen again.

OOC: No problem, Jarval.. I've done it too, things can get busy when you're in a few games. ;). I was just wondering where everyone was.

IC: The captain sits, seemingly entranced, as the ship starts spiralling in towards the station, Turbolasers blasting at and into the ship. Shuddering, the ship starts to level out, though still obviously out of control.
The console beeps as a message comes in from the Imperial ship, and then that ship turns and starts firing at the turbolasers, destroying one and dodging return fire from the other. As this happens, a few other gun turrets are powering up on the station.

Wepps shakes his head, coming out of a moment of disbelief before snapping to attention.

"Oothar," he says, "Can you tell me if we have two enemies here or one?"

He then puts the cruiser into a defensive dive, trying to avoid the laser fire and buy them some time to deliver a response.

"Meanwhile, let's see what they have to say." And Wepps opens the channel between them and the Imperial ship.

OOC: Sorry for posting late. Too much drama in my real life, but I'm back in the game now. BTW: How are we going to handle ship combat and any of our own rolls for skill checks, etc.?
