Not much for the moment... rename medusas to gorgons and gorgons to gorgonic bulls...

Why? The Gorgon Sisters were not the ugly monster able to tun people to stone with a glance - only Medusa could do that.

Also the Gorgon is the Medieval name for the Cateolopas - so it might be better to call it that (or possibly even Hodag (although the Hodag was a slightly diferent beasty)

As for what changes I'd make - I'd make the monsters more 'folklorish' and have them act like they do in Myth, Legend and Fairytale...

My point was that Medusa is just an individual from the group "Gorgons", and it seems to me that, if possible a group name should be used.

I think the medieval was slightly later than ancient greece, so ancient greece might take precedence. ;)

Well, If I remember my greek mythology correctly, all three of the gorgons could kill with a glance, but only medusa was mortal.

As for what changes I would do, I would definetly move the fey closer to their originals (Satyrs a drunks, and nymphs aren't directly deadly, although all mortal males fall helplessly in love with them.) I would probably change sylphs to fey.

Later,
