OOC: I thought you could sheeth as a free action while moving, like drawing?

(OOC: Hmmm....it doesn't say that you can in the text, but on the other hand, the name of the section says "Draw or Sheathe a Weapon". I dunno. I'll be nice and say you can)

"Eve, let her go," Vanitri says as he shethes his weapons, and grapples Laynie.

(OOC: Make that tries to grapple Laynie...:rolls: Ooh, you beat her by 1!)

*Vanitri barely manages to get a grip on Laynie/Eve, who scoffs in annoyance.*

"No matter. It'll all be over soon," she smirks.

"You'd sacrifice your daughter and use her just for personal gain? What kind of mother are you?"

 

[Rystil Arden]

"I think you misunderstand what is going on here. I just saved her from banishment to those unreachable heights. I have no long-term plans to keep this body."

 

[Bront]

"She can go up there just fine." Vanitri points out. "More like saving yourself."

 

[Rystil Arden]

"No, don't be silly. For that I would have just let go when Termina tried to meddle. I had to take the risk so that I could bring Elpis back down here."

 

[Bront]

"Her name is Laynie," Vanitri says.
