The Crux of the Matter

(OOC: You know, nobody's going to do anything to invalidate the potion, so even though it's Ashna's turn, I'll just resolve the potion now. Just keep in mind that the wizardfolk get two turns now before Rinaldo goes again )

*After the wizards do something, Rinaldo feeds a potion to Hogarth, healing her a bit and stopping the continuing internal damage of the burn from killing her*

(OOC: healed 4, so now she's at -4 I believe)

(OOC: No, but you healed from resting a day with Hogarth, who probably converted all her stuff to healing before sleep. So if you're using the two swords, I assume that means you left the adamantine dagger for Rinaldo?)

*Dropping the dagger for Rinaldo in favour of his swords, Vanitri rushes towards the Crux, but just like Tenebrynn he begins to ripple and then seems to disintegrate in thin air.*

(OOC: I'll make a thread for Vanitri's Idylls soon--meeting in ~1 hour and parents coming after that for graduation tomorrow, so have to straighten room)

OOC: Actualy, I completly forgot I had the Adamanine dagger (that was a while ago, and I was under a lot of stress then). I'd have grabbed that instead of the short sword.

(Presumably, my 7th level approval and my action. Well, while we're waiting on the former, Ashna will circle the Crux studying it, careful not to reach the threshold at which she saw Vanitri vanishing.)

(OOC: Well I guess that was one thing. My college graduation was another. I guess in the world of LEW, the former was more important, but I still wouldn't have been ready to post due to the latter )

*Ashna circles a bit around the Crux studying it, as does Elektra, and Laynie heads over towards the other side with Rayne.*

"Incoming!" Rayne calls out, as she attempts to Dispel another bead of flame, this time succeeding to snuff it out.

(OOC: It's Rinaldo's turn. Also, unless I hear a good reason, I'm giving Rinaldo -1000 XP on the next XP awatd because I used my Who's Online function and just found you reading one of the threads for another character (Vanitri's Idylls), which is tantamount to reading another character's SBLOCK. Since Rinaldo is going to be getting a lot of extra XP for all that roleplaying and several encounters alone, and he was already ahead of everyone before the extra XP, I won't feel too bad about doing it, but I'm a trusting guy, so if you tell me you misclicked, I'll believe you. However, if I see it happen again / find out I've been tricked, well, that will be bad )
