The Crux of the Matter

Tenebrynn ushers the others in, taking position as suggested by Rinaldo. He trusts the merchant to spot any trouble well before he could. He is ready for suprises, though a well appointed tower is not quite what he expected the larger space certainly is.

"Ashnar, Tenebrynn, I suggest we try to find the wizard laboratory. I think it is there we should find the notes about his experiment. Where would you put a laboratory in such tower? You own one, no?" asks Rinaldo, who looks at the different ways they can head.

Vanitri will scan the area, looking for anything that seems odd, out of place, or catches his eye.

OOC: Spot and search checks :)

"A laboratory or a library, either might have some clues. My library is towards the top of our place, pick a staircase and lets head up." replies Tenebrynn.

*The stairs curve around and lead upwards to a balcony on the second floor overlooking the entrance hall--from here it is obvious that the other symmetrical set of stairs does so as well. There are two hallways leading diagonally up-left and up-right, and straight ahead is a door sealed in a brilliant azure glow.*

Tenebrynn will let Rinaldo take the lead, knowing that the merchant's eyes are far keener than his when it comes to traps and the like. He would like to check out the blue door though. "Let have a look at that one?"

"Obviously, it is magic..." tells Rinaldo looking at the blue glow. "With all magical things around, we might need to keep all those detect magic spell we have for the moment. Stay there, I'll take a look." tells Rinaldo, as he is standing himself at 15 feet from teh door. He slowly come near the door and then take all his time to inspect it.

[SBLOCK=OOC]Continue to actively searching, and take 20 for the door only.[/SBLOCK]
