The Educated Character

I was wondering if any of you have handled a very educated character in your campaign. I'm interested in playing a character who has had the oppurtunity to go to school, including doing some higher education, before he started adventuring. There's a feat in FRCS called Educated, but I don't think it captures the feeling of a person who is really book smart. Are there any suggestions on how I can go about making it work that way?

How bout start as a Bard, then take Lore Master levels?

You could take Aristocrat / Expert NPC levels, or if your DM is willing to let you the PC version of them (varients of the above over the net).

You could use d20 Modern as the basis for a fantasy game and give him levels in the Smart Hero
