(OOC All: Sorry about that, but I've been layed up with a stomach illness of late; but I guess I have been kind of lax about posting.

Next time, when/if I don't post for whatever reason, just assume my characters continue what their doing...that way the game isn't slowed down when I can't/forget to post.

But if I'm out, I have one favor to ask; can I write Asher's death scene myself? I'd rather have him die than just leave the party if I'm booted...

Asher struggles with the vines that wrap around him.

"Lilly!" he shouts, obviously annoyed. "Lilly! Grow your damned flower garden somewhere else!"

Rilaine, recently cut free, attempts to close with the remaining ogre.

"I declare that we shall be called the EyeGougers!" Jade says, noting the 2 eyeless ogres.

OOC: OK, so we gonna let Bob stay or not? I think it'll be ok. BTW, are all the baddies dead now?

"EyeGougers?" Asher says incredulously. "Nothing about the plight of the common man? Or Liberty? Equality?"

OODM: yes i will let bob stay, i was just pised off that day and that was the closest thing to let it out with. yes tht was the last of the creatures. the "EyeGougers" what's next

Lilly walks up to Asher and gives him a kiss on the cheek. I'm so sorry that I kept everyone from being over run by the baddies at your expence. Next time I'll let them kill you. She says with a toss of her long curly brown hair and a wink from her emerald green eye.

 

[Bob Aberton]

"Kind of you, fair lady," Asher says lightly, sheathing Liberty. "I had heard everyone rose had its thorn, but I didn't know Lillies were so fond of them." His tone remains light, though he does pick a few stray briars out of his hair and the skin of his face and hands.

Rilaine also sheathes his weapon and sees to the horses (OOC: we did have horses, right? If we didn't, he just gestures impatiently toward the road...)

"We must be on the road," he says loudly, then blushes and adds meekly: "With your permission of course, Comrade Asher..."

 

[saFire]

Aramae puts away her bow and calls for Quarion, who had been circling above the battle. He glides down to land on her shoulder.
She pats him on his feathered head and says:

"Rilaine's right. We should be off soon. I don't want to have to camp near here."

She surveys the grim battlefield and shudders slightly.

[OOC: Star, Lilly's raven familiar has been searching the area for more attackers. Did she see any?]

"A pity we couldn't capture any alive. Perhaps one of them will have a clue on him as to why they are here." Jade moves to the nearest and starts the grim task of searching the bodies.

 

[Sulli]

Star and Quarion don't see anything around. jade searches the body and find a short bow, 20 arrows, 60 gp but nothing else.

OoC: you did have a chance to keep one alive but you guys killed it.
