Jade gasps and rushes over to Aramae, checking her wounds to see if there is anything that can be done. Shaking her head as she finds what she feared, she looks up at her companions "... Our friend has past on, I'm afraid there is nothing I can do for her now." She looks over to Asher "I'm sorry, Asher.."

OOC: I'm taking the liberty of assuming that since Safire is gone that the character is dead, so no actual need for a Heal check or anything. If this is wrong, pls correct me and ignore everything after "checking her wouds to see if there is anything that can be done".

Poor child. The best we can do is bury her and take her loot and move on. Come children lets start digging. Lilly will dig a hole along with the help of her wolf and weasel. The hawk and Raven are off looking for any treasure the beast might have stashed near by.
 

"ARAMAE!" Asher drops his weapons and rushes over, holding her broken body in his arms. "No...please...not you...Aramae, no..." He weeps bitterly, and his tears mingle with his half-sister's blood.

Rilaine walks over, and stands awkwardly, removing his metal cap in a show of respect.

"Bury her and move on..." Asher whispers quietly. "Goodbye...sister..." He gently closes her eyes and wraps her body in her cloak.

Then, taking Rilaine's axe, he cuts down a small sapling, and, hewing the bark off of it, carves:

ARAMAE PALANTIR

A DEAR SISTER, A GOOD FRIEND, AND A FAITHFUL COMPANION
DEAD BEFORE HER TIME.
 

OoC: nice touch with the sign bob, the last time i had a character die in a game i was playing, i cremated the body with a spell that i made and let the ashes be spread by the wind.
also do a familer die when the master dies or what??. never had a familer die on me before.

IC: if you take her loot, she's got, MCshort bow+1
Masterwork buckler, clock and boots of elven kind, 2 daggers, spell componet pouch, spell book, arrow(38), and 3 potions and 2 scrolls.

after the bareal has been done the birds come back and show you 10 gp and tells you there is more. if you go to where they found it, you find 400 gp.
 

[I hate to sound like a vulture but Lilly could use the spell comps and the book.]

Lilly will comfort Asher as best she can. Her love for him growing by leaps and bounds. Lilly will also look to Quarion. [A familiar would not die with the mage but would be reduced to a normal animal and sustain heavy damage. ] Quarion is a grieved as you Asher. Please accept your sisters bond mate. He no longer has the gift of magic, but I can train him to be a constant companion for you.
 

"I suppose it's...better for her things to be used...for the good of the group," Asher says reluctantly. "Here, Lilly, you can have her spellbook and her...magic ingredients, she used to call them. My sister wasn't the...hoarding type."

Quarion weakly clambers onto Asher's arm and perches there.

"It would be cruel just to leave him," Asher says, looking at the hawk. "I'll...take care of him...for my sister's sake."
 

Lilly hugs Asher trying not to upset Quillion any further and says, I will be here when you need me. Let us go from this place and get our minds on the mission at hand. She would have wanted it that way.

[OOC: Hey Sulli, would it be possible for each of the remaining players to play 2 characters? that way we can continue the adventure and don't have to worry about recruiting.]
 

that's not a bad idea but i only need one more person unless i up the CR on the adventure??.
ill leave it up to you, do you want more characters to play in a harder campain or one more person come in and i leave the CR where it is.?
