The Old School: AD&D 1e

The party follows the bend to the left, Lidia keeping the torch high. She continues to note the presence of earthworms and now centipedes in the walls. About 30' later, a side passage to the right appears, and the passage ahead seems to open up into a larger room, just beyond the range of torchlight.

 

[Deuce Traveler]

"Hmph." The Sarge utters as he sees the room in front of the party. He listens for danger.

 

[Scott DeWar]

Austin keeps an eye on the side passage for any suprises there.

 

[Thondor]

"Hmmm, perhaps another light." Amirad slips a torch from his pack and lights it from Lidia's lantern. He passes it to his cousin, "If you wouldn't mind continuing to keep an eye on that passage, I think the rest of us should explore this here chamber." He lights another torch for himself and advances into the chamber.

 

[Scott DeWar]

Austin holds the torch then peers into the darkness of the side passage, not quite sure why he feels like a target now that he has light.

 

[InVinoVeritas]

Looking down the side passage, he makes out dimly light glinting off a chain. The tracks here make a full bend around, like the earlier elevator platform.

 

[Scott DeWar]

"Looks like there is a chain hanging down the way here. Tracks might twist back around to the elevators as well. Not sure about that."

OOC: "Tracks might twist back around to the elevators as well. Not sure about that." is that wahat you meant IVV?

 

[InVinoVeritas]

OOC: As in the first level, there are mine cart tracks throughout the passages. They form a loop before the elevator platforms.

OOC: 'wilco

 

[Rhun]

Turthain keeps his longbow at the ready, covering the others.


OOC: Isn't "Wilco" military short for "Will Comply?" That doesn't make sense.
