Thirst for power (Finished) (Knight Otu judging)

OOC: Ah, good point. :) I read the post, started formulating my reply and right at the end I thought "Oh, maybe he has some new allies," completely forgetting he said he was working alone.

OOC: Posting on all of my games at the moment - I'm going to be away travelling with work and extending the trip into a holiday (to Japan - wooo!), at the end of August/early September (leaving on 28th for 3 weeks). I may be online occasionally during this time, I'd guess at around 2-3 times a week. Hopefully it's OK to leave Draig to be NPC'd during this time?

[sblock=Patlin: ]After checking the street, and being sure that nobody else is there, you look for a warmer spot. There are not many places to choose, but you finally find a place both sheltered from the wind and hidden, where you can watch the house if you stick your head out. There, you continue watching.[/sblock]

Nordal knows a good deal of trivia about Idrag; he knows the names of a good number of Idrag´s trusted men, including Soluc Emal, the captain´s "yessir" and unofficial second in command. Also knows Idrag visits at least treee nights out of four a particular prostitute in the Passiflora, a half elf named Artea.

Knows also many useful details about the layout and manning of the guard´s quarters/fortress (though nothing as useful as a secret door or other such way to enter)

Also tells you the reason Idrag pursued the thieves "guild". He says Idrag gave them a choice: to work for him, or else. What happened when they chose "else" you already know, but he´d swear that Idrag wanted a thieve´s guild for him, and he´s preparing something big. And soon.

Draig sets his pack, and armour down in a corner. "Sounds like a powerful man. So doe he run things around here? Or is he just someone's pawn?"

"I don´t know what to say. He´s influential, sure, and as long as he does what the council wants he´s given a lot of leeway and money." says Nordal, sitting on the stool.

Draig nods. "So the council run the show and he just does what he's told?" They'd be behind whatever's going down as well then.

Almost as an afterthought, "Say, you don't know how much Artea charges?"
