ooc: Do I have to? I was hoping to check on the others before tailing the mystery man.

Obviously you must let the man leave the immediate surroundings of the window to reach that position without being seen, giving him a head start. Tailing him now will be difficult (since you have to move quickly), but not impossible

"Ok, once we contact Artea, or try anything with Idrag, what little cover we have left will be blown, unless we can bribe Artea with enough money to actually buy her silence. Unfortunately we also do not have much time. How about tomorrow Azaroth and I go to talk to Artea, while Draig and Banion scout out the guard's headquarters. If you get the chance to get inside safely, go ahead and take it. Use your best judgment. Knowing Banion, I think he will check in later tonight and if not, definitely in the morning. What do you think?"

Banion will try to follow the man, but he wants to remain on the cautious side. He will only make up distance slowly, even though that is at some risk of losing his tail.

He seems to be a man with enemies. I wonder how close they are to tracking him down?

Draig nods, "Scouting out the guard headquarters sounds like something I can handle. Assuming we're not known by all the guards as the guys that saved the inn. Guess there's only one way to find that out."

Draig rolls out a blanket, keen to catch up on his missing sleep.

ooc: Turo? Anyway, there´s a problem with the telephone company, so I can´t connect from my house (where I have all the relevant files) Further posting will be, hopefully briefly, delayed.

OOC: Oops, sorry, I was half asleep when I posted that and about to crash. Turo is the character I'd been playing in a tabletop game. It's corrected now.

ooc: Scamphonics solved the problem sooner than i thought, so we can resume our game.

After checking the window where his companions are, Banion runs after the man as silently as he can. Following a man that´s moving at a good pace proves to be a problem to the short halfling, as he´s forced to run* from time to time. Still, he´s doing a good job, and the fact that he can just follow the sound of his quarry´s steps through the deserted, cold streets makes it easier.

But the luck isn´t with him. He slips on a wet stone and before he can balance, steps on a puddle**: The wet splashing sound sounds to him like a bell. The sound of the man´s steps stop suddendly, and then become a quick rattle; he´s running. Banion does his best to follow them, though it quickly becomes difficult, until they stop.

Nonetheless, Banion has a good idea of where the man was going. He´d swer he stopped at this house: an abandoned one, a pure ruin with a wild and overgrown garden; though it´s evident hat nobody is here. Where he´s hiding, Banion has no idea.

*Hustle, actually
**Bad roll here, sorry!
