D&D 5E To The Strongest: A 5E War Campaign [CLOSED; OOC]

Oh yeah, magic item. Um. Hm.

Pair of magic shortswords maybe... Or some kind of defense.

Or is this going to be a game that focuses primarily on mass combat? Cuz if so, there'd be a different guiding philosophy on what kind of items to desire.

Primarily mass combat, though there will be instances where you're not using the full weight of your troops. Say about 70/30 split.

Also, River Song, for your first post, the Avernix promised 30 troops equipment, not 60.

As for your question on how large the armies of Patroklos and Pantea really are, anyone can attempt a History (Int) check with advantage.

oops! can't help but try and raise the price eh? very mercenary.

Something to boost Charisma would be my choice of item or a Horn of Valhalla :)

I'm okay with a Silver Horn of Valhalla there.

For Magic Items, let's keep it within the Uncommon or Rare Categories , yeah?

River, I'll PM you your results

Okay Jago, how about this:
Orcus' Touch(Greatsword)-+1, deals an additional 1d6 Necrotic damage.

That seems fair to me. Let's keep it that the Necrotic damage only works on the Living, however: not so good against the Undead and the like, ja?

And I really need your chosen Stands on your Character Sheet.

So let's talk strategy. Who does what from where in combat. Since we aren't new to each other we would know how each piece operates.

I, as Cavalry, will be waiting for an opportunity to attack the back lines. Not necessarily getting mixed up in the front line conflict unless I've broken back line first. Make sense? What does your group do?

Aridha's light cavalry would most likely act as a flanking unit...using speed to try to range around behind and attack in the rear. Her scouts would most likely be similar, but instead of using speed to get around and attack in melee, they'd use stealth to get close to vulnerable units and open up with ranged attacks...hitting and running.

For magic items, I think I'd like a Belt of Dwarvenkind. It's rare, and is a flavorful item that could indicate a special distinction awarded by some dwarfish customers perhaps?

Feyson is a scout and infiltration unit. All skirmishers who will sneak behind the lines and attack soft targets. At least that is the plan hopefully it works the way I want it to.
