Traditional Buffy and Angel Thread (Spoilers for both)

This is whats going to happen as far as i know ...

Xander and Anya will be phased out into a normal couple.

Willow and Dawn will go to England with Giles and be on Ripper.

I dont know what will happen to Buffy but SMG is leaving.

Faith may come back to do more, but shes distinctly said, she loves the show and people, but shes having way too much fun doing movies right now.

Id like to see her juggle Buffy with the following movies coming out she is in:

Alice (2003) .... Alice
Kiss, The (2003) .... Megan
Wrong Turn (2003) .... Jessie
It Was Always Me (2002) .... Marissa

Actually, I'd love to see her in Alice too. Unfortunately, the trades officially denied that anyone had been spoken to about the part way back in September of last year (2001). Since then, the only person mentioned was Milla Jovovich, though I'm sure that's just a rumor, especially since she's been branded as "the Resident Evil chick". Well, that and Milla's just too damned old for the part, IMO. :)

Well tonight's Angel was DEFINATELY unexpected. I would have to say my favorite part is Lorne going all green and running out of there. Now that has me worried. On the plus side I like Cordy reaching out to Connor. But I am concerned that perhaps THIS is the "slouching towards Bethlehem" thing since it looks like from next week epsidose, she and Connor might be doing the nasty together. A new evil ascendent in the form of Cordy's baby? Now there's a plot twist! Perhaps this is also a way for "Angelus" to come around. No idea, but just random thoughts.

I am pretty disappointed with the way Angel is going so far this season. As soon as Connor "rescues" Cordy I turned to my wife and say "If they pull out some sort of damned oedipus complex bs this will get old really, really fast." This was before the teasers for the next show.

I will wait and see but so far I am finding both Buffy and Angel to be far, far weaker than past seasons. Then again, Buffy has been on a slide for a while now.

Just one more opinion ....

Patrick

Well your entitled to your opinion Patrick. I TRULY respect your abilities as a module writer, but as a TV critic....well let's just say I'm not letting you pick my show! ;) But you can certainly recommend modules to me! ;)

I liked the Angel episode. It will allow Cordy to really explore herself and give some interesting situations for all of them. I think this also might be a way to make Conner almost bearible.

Not possible, unless he ends up dead. Of course if the writers were smart enough to do that he never would have been kidnapped taken to an alternate dimension raised to hate his father and come back all grown up.
