Traditional Buffy and Angel Thread (Spoilers for both)

Interesting. :) Well any case, I still want to see what Angel's going to do about Cordy's memories. Plus Wes...all this stuff with Lilah is REALLY disturbing, in the kind of "Dangerous Liasons" way.

The Crody thing will go bad before it goess good. Things always go bad. I'm more curious how see got back and why it took her memories.

No more silly than liking an actor you have never met. Either way you are making judgements about someone you don't know. Anyway, I have never met anyone who does not use superficial data to make judgements about famous people.

I don't like the guy's roles either, I think he does not pull them off very well, his vocal tones annoy me, and he has bad posture. It is just easier to say, I don't like him.

Well, it's one thing to dislike someone for not doing his roles well, or for having an annoying voice -- I can get that. But disliking someone because he plays unlikeable characters is, IMHO, goofy.

It may be just as goofy to like someone because they play likeable characters (it is solely on this basis that I find Alyson Hannigan so yummy). (well, maybe not solely). However, I think you oughtta give people the benefit of the doubt: plenty of cool people play despicable characters.

ok fine. i dont like the actor for MUCH more reasons. He just also happens to get on my nerves and i cant stand watching him at all.

Billy Zane. Nice guy. Met him. Plays mostly unlikeable characters.

See?

Anywho ... Anyone else freak about the 5 year secret about Xander lying to Buffy about Angel? This is truly the end. Joss is wrapping up everything ...

And Cordy is back because she used her powers to help Angel.

I liked him in The Phantom.

Also, I missed like the first 5 minutes or so of Buffy this week. Why is Anya afraid of bunnies?

There was no explanation, unless we both missed it later on because it wasn't in the first five minutes. They were mentioned in one of the flash backs, but nothing to explain the insane fear.

In one of the earliest flash back - where it has that odd 70s home movie look and the funny dialog - there were a bunch of rabbits around the house where Aud (Anya) and Olaf lived. She even says something about traiding them to the villagers. Maybe her "fear" is just an association thing with memories of Olaf. Which - till she turned him into a troll - did not seem that bad. Even if he did sleep with a bar maid with load-bearing hips.

heh, I loved some of the lines from that flashback...

"She [barmaid] has wide, load-bearing hips, like a Baltic woman. Not like you, my precious Aud, who has narrow, slim hips, like a Baltic woman from a slighlty more arid region." (Olaf, to Aud/Anyanka)

"Let's hit him with fruits and various meats!" (random Villager, to Olaf-as-Troll)

"You are small and toylike!" (Olaf-as-Troll, to villagers)
