nope.
changing 2d6 into 2d8 is nothing compared to extra attack.
even with +1 AC

flavor is great and needs to be high on priorities if not 1st, but I also like that my characters math works.

I played 2 or 3 monks in 5E and they were great concepts and great for roleplay, however, when you are next to PAM barbarian that is trashing everything in combat with twice the HP and resistances, your flurry of blows really "blows".

Luckily, it was recognized and 2024 monk is waaaay better.

I don't think it's that weak. It's just not the strongest. That's alot thinner bar especially when you can mix with nick.

There's been a few sneak peaks. Monsters seem to be a bit tougher but it's not massive differences.
