TURTLEDOME!: Battle Bone (DM: KenHood, Judge: Lord S.)

[sblock=OOC]I'm planning to fight with sword and dagger during the next encounter. I'm still learning tactical combat in 4E, but I think I can get in close and then I can use Erlai to flank and or shift squares so that I always have combat advantage. That gives me the opportunity to make two melee attacks each round, either with twin strike or with a beast encounter power, or to make a single attack and use a power to shift Finnian or Erlai into a better position.

Finnian can take Eustace's sword, but I am too distracted to roleplay it right now. Vaunea is still holding it, right? I'll just defer to the greater wisdom or Maholloran's wishes.

I'm ready to move on to the rats this week. Let's get in one more combat encounter so I can learn the system better and we can experiment with team tactics a bit more before the Turtledome arena.[/sblock]

Hadarai takes the bulky sword in his hands, and with a grudging respect, observes it, turns it around in his hands, and tries its balance. Finally, he hands it over to Finnian, by his side. It is a fine weapon indeed. But it will serve you better than me.


[sblock=ooc]Really, Hadarai does nothing with some more damage. A striker having it is so much better. And a dagger + a +1 broadsword is way better than a dagger + a plain longsword.[/sblock]

And I was just about to write about that.

I've got some unexpected personal business that is going to keep me away from the computer for a few more days. I expect I'll get everything squared away around Saturday or Sunday, then I'll be back to posting again.

I do want to make a tweak to the Sword of Five Elements. Basically, with a free action, you can set it on that unpredictable elemental effect--kind of like the flaming and frost swords. I'll have a better write-out when I get back.

Also, I'd agree with Deviant Art as a good place to post your art. I'm interested to see what it looks like - I wish I had the talent to do decent party drawings, but I don't [/sblock]
